Bioinformatics Scientist

Job Description:
The candidate for the position should have:

-Advanced degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or similar, though multiple combinations of experience and education will be considered.

-Proficiency with several of the following technologies: Java, C/C++, R, Python, Perl, and Unix.

-Proficient in developing novel next-generation sequencing data analysis algorithms and custom software solutions, specifically pipelines designed to detect cancer associated genomic aberrations.

-Experience in establishing and maintaining a cloud-based computational pipeline, preferably through AWS.

-An understanding or willingness to learn the biological implications of the research question at hand.

-Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.

Requeriments :

• M.Sc. or higher Degree in Bioinformatics
• M.Sc. or higher Degree in computational biology
