Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated scientist with extensive expertise in computational biology and bioinformatics to advance our industry-leading ADC technology. The successful candidate will support the growing computational and bioinformatics efforts within our Translational Research department and collaborate with wet-lab and biological scientists. Central responsibilities will include all aspects of analysis and management of genomic, high content/throughput screening, and other large datasets. The computational biology group serves as the single point of contact within Translational Research for all matters involving complex data analysis and will directly interface with both biologists and IT personnel to streamline and advance our capabilities.

Qualifications:

-PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field; or an MS in same, plus extra industry experience

-3+ years experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry

-Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to illustrate problems and convey solutions to a non-mathematical audience

-Deep knowledge of mathematics and statistical methods and proficiency using statistical analysis software such as R or Matlab

-Experience with a general scripting language such as Python, Ruby, Perl, or bash

-Experience working with RNA-seq and other Next Generation Sequencing data (processing and analysis)

-Proficiency with data visualization tools (Spotfire, Tableau, R, Python)

-Experience with an object-oriented language such as Java, C++ or C# and familiarity with standard software development best practices: source code control, unit testing, in-code documentation and automated build environments

-Development experience in linux and Windows environments

-Background with molecular biology or immunology a plus

-Database management and design of graphical user interfaces/web applications

-Identification of mechanisms of drug resistance using analysis of multi-parametric data (mutations, gene expression profiles, PK/PD metrics, patient characteristics, indication subtypes, etc.)

-Analysis of in vitro drug combination data, including graphical representations and derivation of synergy/additively metrics

-Analysis of high throughput screening data, include high content and imaging readouts
