A&M AgriLife Research Genomics and Bioinformatics Services getting new home

COLLEGE STATION – Genomics and Bioinformatics Services, part of Texas A&M AgriLife Research, is relocating and expanding to accommodate growing needs in human, plant and animal genomic research. The new facility, located at 1500 Research Parkway in the Centeq Building in College Station, will provide over 6,000 square feet of state-of-the-art sequencing facilities and office space. Construction will be complete in spring of 2019. Building on its recent partnership with PerkinElmer, Inc., PerkinElmer Applied Genomics. the new facility will utilize state-of-art gene sequencing and robotic technology in servicing Texas A&M University System faculty and scientists across the globe.
