Job Description:
European company is recruiting a sales executive who can grow the U.S. customer base and manage existing accounts. They will work remotely and report to the company’s established office in St. Louis.

This is a very unique opportunity for an individual with both Genomic/NGS experience and the ability to do Sales / Business Development. The perfect candidate will have some experience in both as well as a technical degree

Individual will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and establishing contacts with these potential customers. Previous experience and relationships with companies like Monsanto, BASF, Syngenta is very important

Will report to the Director of Sales.

Individual will be expected to travel extensively regionally and some nationally as well as internationally meeting with potential clients and following up with customers. They will also expected to attend key conferences and events.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

-Degree in Computational Biology / Bioinformatics / Biology / Life Sciences.

-MSc / Ph.D preferred.

-Experience / Interaction with traditional Agriculture and/or Ag Technology companies.

-Must have Sales / Business Development experience.

-At least two years of experience working with genomic / NGS.

-Experience in analyzing large genomic/genetic data sets.

-Working with/for International company a plus.

-Extensive Travel.
