The Department of Mathematics at Iowa State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor with research expertise in mathematical biology, beginning August 16, 2018. In addition to an active research program, the candidate will be responsible for teaching courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. The successful candidate will have a strong research portfolio in mathematical biology with an emphasis in bioinformatics, excellent credentials in both undergraduate and graduate-level teaching, and will be expected to obtain external funding.
