Job Description:
The Department of Computer Science at the University of Arizona invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. The research areas of algorithms, distributed systems, and storage and database systems are especially desirable. Outstanding candidates in related areas will also be considered.

The faculty member will teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels and contribute to mentoring students, including those from underrepresented backgrounds. The faculty member will also participate in outreach and contribute to departmental, college, and university service. In these and other ways, the faculty member will help to develop innovative approaches to enhancing student engagement, increasing diversity, and expanding collaborations with community and business partners.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The faculty member will develop and maintain a top-quality research program, teach graduate and undergraduate courses, and perform service to the department, field, and wider community.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field.
