Assistant/Associate Professor of Genetics in the Institute for Biomedical InformaticsUniversity of PennsylvaniaGeneticsUSA-PA-Philadelphia The Department of Genetics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Assistant Professor positions in the tenure track. Rank will be commensurate with experience. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of computational biology and biomedical informatics as applied to human genetics and genomics. Responsibilities include developing and carrying out an independent research program and participating in graduate and medical school education. Applicants must have an Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research and education.

The Department of Genetics and the Institute for Biomedical Informatics comprise faculty with diverse investigative interests and close affiliations with the neighboring Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
