Job Description:
The Department of Computer Science at the University of Chicago invites applications from qualified candidates for faculty positions at the rank of Associate Professor. The University of Chicago has embarked on an ambitious, multi-year effort to significantly expand its computing and data science activities. Candidates with research interests in all areas of computer science will be considered. However, applications are especially encouraged in the areas of AI and Machine Learning, Robotics, Data Analytics, Human-Computer Interaction, and Visual Computing.

Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in research and a strong commitment to teaching. Completion of all requirements for a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field is required at the time of appointment. Candidates must have demonstrated leadership in their field, have established an outstanding independent research program and have a record of excellence in teaching and student mentorship.
