Bioinformatic Data Analyst

Job Description:
Molecular Profiling group at Regeneron is seeking a bioinformatics scientist with broad understanding of biology, strong bioinformatics skills, and demonstrated experience in genomics data analysis. The candidate will work with scientists, across various therapeutic areas at Regeneron, to design experiments and analyze multi-omics profiling data. The candidate will also develop and implement data analysis pipeline using cutting-edge algorithms and statistically sound methodologies.

Duties:

Analyze multi-omics profiling data of both human and mouse samples to provide support for target discovery, target validation, and drug development. Examples of the type of work and responsibilities include;

• Run deep-dive analysis of expression profiling experiments and single cell experiments
• Run integrative analysis of multi-omics profiling data from internal and public datasets to characterize mechanisms and to identify novel targets and pathways
• Implement and develop data analysis pipeline using cutting-edge algorithms and statistically sound methodologies
• Collaborate with scientists at various groups at Regeneron, as well as external collaborators, to design profiling experiments
• Present results in clear, concise and easy to understand manner to Sr. management and collaborators.
• 2 years of research experience after Master
• Master with a minimum of two years of research.
• Strong scientific credentials.
• Broad understanding of biology and drug development
• Familarity of various profiling technology, such as RNA-seq and single cell profiling.
• Knowledge of state-of-the art bioinformatics tools and approaches to support drug discovery programs.
• The successful candidate will be a decisive and results-oriented individual who is flexible, team-oriented, creative and able to excel in a multi-project, fast-track environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills goals from both scientific and strategic perspectives.
