Located in Menlo Park, CA, we are seeking a talented and highly motivated LIMS administrator to join our team. You will be a key member of our OPS team of biologists, bioinformatians and automation engineers working to develop a highly automated lab and achieve a substantially short sample turnaround time. The LIMS is an indispensable piece in the information and automation system. Responsibilites:
- LIMS maintenance, configuration, upgrades and troubleshooting
- Configuration of systems surrounding LIMS, including lab instruments, barcode printers, lab scientists' laptops, etc.
- Internal user support
- IQ, OQ and PQ on LIMS and related systems, prepare paperwork and documentations
- Provide mining and visualization solutions for LIMS data
- Fluent programming skills with at least one programming language, such as C, Python or Perl
- Experience working with database and SQL
- Knowledge in basic statistics
- Experience in data visualization
- Good at Windows and Linux, and common software tools on these operation systems
- Companionate personality, good communication skills
- Detail oriented work style
- Patience for preparing paperwork and documentation
- The will to crush the hurdles that slow down your colleagues
- The enthusiasm to acquire new skills
