Job Description:
The candidate will perform data management, curation tasks, and programming activities to support a clinical/scientific analytics team. Duties include: -Work closely with project team to apply research/experimental skills to scale up and automate manual activities/tasks for more precise analysis (models include predictive analysis, and free text analysis). -Reviewing various data sets and identify ways to automate data management activities within relational SQL databases and visualization tools. -Monitoring data processing requests and submitting data files to analysis pipelines. -Merging, curating, and cataloging different data types with clinical data to generate analysis-ready data sets -Curating and cataloguing data sets, maintaining listings of available data, and distributing to collaborators tracking/supporting operational activities related to the implementation of pilot activities and other activities/project across the program prepare agenda, minutes, and/or support development of ppt deliverables. -In the process of performing this work, the candidate will communicate extensively with scientist, programmers, analysts and potentially vendor representatives. Requirements : -Master's degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics, statistics; or bachelor's degree in a life science or statistical field with at least three years of experience working in a quantitative biosciences position. PhD Preferred. -Relational databases and SQL and other programming language. -Proficiency in scripting language and modeling skills using tools such as R, Python, Perl or SAS. -Proficiency in NLP and curation of free text data sets . -Experience managing, curating, and analyzing clinical data across several disease states. -Setting up and maintaining processes. -Strong clinical knowledge. -Outstanding communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills working in a dynamic team environment (multi-cultural and geographically diverse team). -Strong understanding of how to apply research and experimental skills into project/pilot design and data analysis -Strong organizational, project management, and ppt skills. -Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills working in a team environment. -Knows how to design and run experimental activities/pilots Required experience: -automate data management: 2 years -Strong clinical knowledge: 2 years -R, Python, Perl or SAS: 2 years -designing and run experimental activities/pilots: 2 years -NLP and curation of free text data sets: 2 years -Curating and cataloguing data sets: 2 years -SQL databases: 2 years
