We are seeking a bioinformatics engineer to join our production team. You will work alongside software engineers, clinical geneticists, and lab scientists to ensure the continued success of our diagnostic test. Your responsibilities will include writing and maintaining software to analyze and visualize clinical genomic data, evaluate data quality, and automate lab and bioinformatics processes. Requirements: -3+ years experience with Python. -3+ year experience with Javascript and well established MV* frameworks (ex., React, backbone.js, etc.) -D3 visualization experience is a plus. -Proficiency with SQL, Postgres, and/or Datomic databases. -Familiarity with UNIX environments and scripting. -Interest in working in a fast-paced environment as a self-starter. -Comfort working in cross-disciplinary teams. -Experience with NGS bioinformatics or molecular biology benchwork is a plus.
