The Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn seeks candidates for a temporary position in the Crop Bioinformatics group at the Institute for Crop Science and Resource Conservation as a

Postdoc or Junior Research Group Leader

The Crop Bioinformatics group of Prof. Dr. Heiko Schoof at the Institute for Crop Science and Resource Conservation is interested in the bioinformatics of crop genomes. Methods for protein function prediction and for interpretation of genome-scale sequence datasets are key topics.

You have:
•a PhD in bioinformatics or a related subject
•published in international peer-reviewed journals

You are:
•used to an independent and structured style of working in a team
•interested in the development of your own research interests and in writing your own grant applications
•communicative and self-assured with solid skills in scientific English
