Job Description:
• Internship in Bioinformatics Area. Advanta Seeds in College Station, TX is looking for an intern that can install and upload data in a Genome Browser and a BLAST+ Server.
• The candidate should have some experience working in Linux environment, understanding of NGS data and basic knowledge in genomics. 1-3 years of experience in the field.
• Knowledge of a data processing language (Python, Perl or R) and tidy coding and reporting skills would be desired.
• Strong communication skills are required to ensure a professional and respectful work environment. The candidate must be a team player, precise and reliable, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
