We have an opening for a skilled, experienced, and self-motivated developer who have a demonstrated knowledge and interest in genetics and bioinformatics. These individuals will design and implement data analysis pipelines, databases, analysis tools, and web user interfaces for large-scale genetic data sets. The successful candidate will join a growing team that is building robust infrastructure, sophisticated algorithms and analysis capabilities. We use agile design and implementation practices coupled with the careful validation and documentation required in a clinical environment. We aim to use the right tool for any job: team members are proficient in Python and Django, SQL and NoSQL databases, and R. Bioinformatics tools used include bwa, Picard, and GATK and a growing number of internally developed utilities.
