Job Description:
A POSTDOC or SCIENTIST POSITION is available immediately in the lab of Dr. Andrea Bild (http://bildlab.org/; https://www.cityofhope.org/andrea-bild ) at the City of Hope Cancer Institute, CA. We are seeking a bioinformatician with experience analyzing genomic data, including whole genome DNA and RNA sequencing data. This investigator will join a large research program that aims at developing and applying bioinformatics and statistical algorithms for the integrative analysis of multi-omics data. We are specifically studying patient tumor cell heterogeneity and evolution as recently published (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-017-01174-3) and highlighted (https://www.cancer.gov/news-events/cancer-currents-blog/2017/metastatic-breast-cancer-treatment-resistance-evolution ). Researchers will work with a multi-disciplinary team in a creative and collaborative environment consisting of computational and lab biologists, as well as physicians.

Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:

To join our group, we are looking for highly motivated individuals that have demonstrated scientific productivity, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to conduct independent research. We are interested in applicants with a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics, or comparable experience.
