- B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Statistics or related field. M.S. or Ph.D. degree preferred.
- Relevant experience analyzing NGS sequencing data.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux scripting
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java and R.
- Proficiency in working with relational database, such as PostgreSQL
- Familiar with version control, such as git
- Proficient with publicly available bioinformatics tools (e.g. BWA, SAMtools, GATK, etc), algorithms, and websites (e.g. NCBI, UCSC, etc).
