Job Description:
We are seeking a Bioinformatics Scientist enthusiastic at developing algorithms for cutting-edge sequencing platforms, analyzing exciting large-scale genomic data, working with our high-performance computing platform, and enhancing our analysis workflow for accuracy. You will work with our highly professional teams in both science and engineering to deliver the best genomic applications to the field.

How you will spend your time:

  • Developing and enhancing algorithms for various sequencing platforms
  • Extending and refining existing pipelines for the analysis of NGS data
  • Benchmarking and validating bioinformatics tools and pipelines
Experience and skills you will need:
  • In-depth experience in bioinformatics tools/algorithms for sequencing data
  • Experience with running pipelines in current use for the analysis of NGS data
  • Familiar with biostatistics analysis
  • Familiar with using quality metrics and validated datasets to assess performance
  • Experience in cancer genomics and related tools
  • Good communication skill and familiar with collaboration
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to be an outstanding team player and leader
  • Fanatical attention to detail

Good to have

-Good programming skills, e.g. Python and/or Java

-Good writing skills for scientific reports

Education:

PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics or equivalent field
