Job Description:
The Molecular Profiling Group is seeking a bioinformatics scientist with broad understanding of biology, strong bioinformatics skills, and demonstrated experience in data interpretation. The scientist will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting transcriptomics, lipidomics, and metabolomics data. The candidate will use a range of bioinformatics tools to help advance understanding of target and pathway biology and to provide support of antibody-based therapeutics development.

Responsibilities:

 Run deep-dive analysis of expression profiling experiments

 Analyze metabolomics and lipidomics datasets

 Integrative multi-omics analysis: develop algorithms to combine multiple-omics data to characterize mechanisms and to identify novel targets and pathways

 Collaborate with scientists in the Metabolism and Muscle department and other groups at Regeneron, as well as external collaborators to design molecular profiling experiments

 Present results to Sr. management and collaborators

Requirements:

This position requires a PhD and at least 3 years of related post-doc experience. Additional requirements include:

  • Experience in analysis of genomic data including RNA-seq, Single-cell RNA-seq, DNA-seq, and ChIP-seq
  • Knowledge of state-of-the art bioinformatics tools and approaches to support drug discovery programs
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R, python, bash
  • Candidates with experience in metabolomics data analysis and knowledge in metabolic or muscle disorders are preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Collaborative, result-oriented, and able to work in a multi-project and fast-paced environment
