Job Description:
Biomedical Software Developer- (NYC)-Design & support highly scalable & modular biomed s/ware products for basic & clinical research studies using C++ or Java.Develop informatics s/ware packages incl co-expression analysis & causality inference testing. Work w/ researchers to make usability, performance & algorithmic improvements to medical s/ware apps. Develop sequence analysis systems incl user interfaces, web apps/interfaces, sequence analysis pipeline, & variant databases using HTML, Javascript, Python, R, Java, or Scala. Solve research questions related to big data & high performance computing. Assemble validation data & workflows req'd to obtain & maintain regulatory approval for clinical next-generation sequencing. Contribute to design & implementation of research studies & prep research results for publication. Req's: Master's in Bio or Bioinformatics & 5 yrs of exp in position offered or as S/ware Team Leader or S/ware Engineer. 3 yrs of the req'd exp must have incl designing & supporting highly scalable & modular biomed s/ware products using C++ or Java.
