Job Responsibilities

Establish and maintain complex databasesUse existing methods and develop new methods for handling, analyzing, interpreting, and archiving next generation sequencing (NGS) data from DNA-seq, RNA-seq, GUIDE-seqUse existing methods and develop new methods for designing, evaluating, and optimizing sequence specificity of targeted endonuclease therapies, e.g., CRISPR, TALENMaintain complete documentation of analysis methods

Required Experience

Graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in statistics, biostatistics, bioinformaticsExperience with gene editing, gene therapy, genetics, CRISPR guide RNA design, DNA cleavageWorking knowledge of common data analysis and statistical methods used in genomics and bioinformaticsExperience in quantitative analysis and presentation of high-volume biological datasetsScientific and statistical programming (R/python preferred)Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to function independentlyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to read, write, speak and understand scientific English at graduate level is required
