Job Description:
Provide real-time data visualization and data review activities for clinical studies, focusing on First in Human and profiling trials; facilitate data integration and access to data within clinical trials; propose and support the implementation of new technologies that can deliver enhanced clinical trials and more efficient internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide real-time data visualization within clinical trials to allow ongoing review of data that will facilitate decision-making by clinical teams and management.

2. Work on establishing and refining ‘real time’ data capture, integration, and access within clinical trials, focusing on First in Human and profiling trials.

3. Support data exploration and analysis needs on more complex studies as needed.

4. Train and support super-users in the use of data visualization tools.

5. Work with partners to develop and implement standardized graphical templates that provide clarity and improved communication of results of clinical trials.

6. Help to establish the routine use of data review and visualizations within Translational Medicine.

7. Maintain knowledge of data visualization tools and contribute to associate training plans for the implemented tools.

8. Support the assessment of new technologies and processes and establish their suitability for enhancing upcoming clinical trials across the portfolio. Identify potential synergies and necessary refinements to devices.

9. Work with the Outsourcing Management group and the relevant vendors to implement those technologies that have been established as fit-for-purpose. Ensure that the installed solution satisfies defined performance, security and availability requirements.

10. Work in close collaboration with Translational Medicine Experts, as well as Clinical Trial Leaders, vendors, NIBR IT, Development IT and stakeholders to ensure progress towards goals.

11. Provide input into systems that provide, or identify opportunities for, process improvement within the area of data review.

Minimum requirements

MSc in life sciences, data sciences, bioinformatics, or similar subject.

Fluent oral and written English

1. Approximately 1 plus years experience in a clinical trial/drug development setting

2. Strong knowledge of data management/data handling in a clinical trial environment.

3. Some experience in data manipulation (import/export/transformation) with some statistical understanding preferred

4. Analytical with good technical and problem solving skills.

5. High degree of understanding of data capture process and technologies.

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

7. Excellent teamwork in a global/multidisciplinary environment.

8. Customer focused
