We’re looking for a Cloud Engineer to support our work at the NIH. The position will be based in Rockville, MD.
Job Requirements:
What you’ll do: o Design and develop automated software solutions o Design and implement of Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and its underlying technologies o Maintain established service agreements to manage customer expectations and quality standards o Create a standard approach and best practice to create and maintain automated test plans, test scripts, test suites, etc. o Proactively seeks training and developmental activities related to cloud services o Develop and present technical solutions and configurations for infrastructure as a service o Create conceptual, logical and physical design for cloud-based solutions for platforms o Ability to grow cloud consumption in large or highly strategic accounts o Proven ability of success on major projects transformations and successful transitions to implementation support teams Who you are: o Possess excellent written and oral communication skills o An active problem solver who enjoys challenging situations and creating solutions o 3-5 years’ experience working with cloud computing technologies o Proficient in Microsoft Serve Technologies (Azure Active Directory, Powershell, DNS, etc) o Able to clearly present ideas to both technical and non-technical users and staff to further the adoption of DevOps o Experience with automation/configuration management o Experience with scripting languages such as Ruby, Perl, Python, PHP etc o Ability to evaluate the impact of security issues with respect to the organizations mission and prioritize efforts based on risk o Team leader who can manage a group to maximize their individual skills o Proven track record of building technical relationships with senior executives o Possess knowledge in configuration management and version control tools Required Skills: o Deep understanding of cloud architecture o Bachelors degree or higher in computer science or a related field o Working knowledge of Nodes.JS, PHP, .NET and Java o Hands-on DevOps Tools experience o Hands-on Unix/Linux Scripting experience (Ruby, Perl, Python)Requeriments :
