Our unique discovery platform integrates our understanding of chromatin-regulatory mechanisms with cancer and immune pathways to optimize our drug discovery activities and fully enable the clinical translation of our programs.
We are seeking a computational biologist to expand our capabilities in chromatin research and application of genomic techniques to support drug discovery and clinical development. We offer the opportunity to build on cutting-edge research in chromatin biology and make a difference for patients.

In this role, you will partner with chromatin scientists in Cancer and Immunology to understand biological and clinical questions, and design experiments adn analyses to further our drug development and clinical programs. You will integrate Constellation's omics and other data with external datasets to improve target hypotheses, identify biomarkers, explore mechanism of action, and determine the best clinical contexts for our therapeutic compounds. You will reach out to experts in epigenetics and computational biology, and present and interpret your work to our internal teams. Qualifications include a Ph.D. degree or M.S. degree plus substantial work experience in bioinformatics, statistical, computational, biological or other relevant science.
You should have knowledge of epigenetics, chromatin biology, and disease biology
You will need experience with NGS experiment design and data analysis, including biological functional analysis of expression data -- and proficiency with common bioinformatics tools as well as environments/tools like R and Bioconductor, Perl, version control, Linux. Knowledge of cloud computing and modern software development is important.
We value statistics expertise including power calculations for experiment and biomarker design; nested multivariate models.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must; experience working with patient data from clinical trials is desirable.
