Job Description:
We have an immediate opening for a Computational Genomics Scientist who can help us revolutionize plant breeding using our unique, patented RTDS ™ gene editing technology to produce sustainable agricultural products by safely harnessing Nature’s own genetic diversity. A Ph.D. degree in Genomics, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Plant Biology, or related field, or similar level with equivalent experience. A minimum of 2 years’ postdoctoral experience in a research & development environment is required, or a MA/MS degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience, or a BA/BS degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and applying state-of-the-art genome analysis capabilities to bridge the genotype-phenotype gap, and provide genomic solutions at all stages of the RTDS ™ pipeline from project initiation to commercial production. Genomics applications will include gene discovery and genome editing in plants and microbes, as well as trait discovery and genomics-assisted breeding in agricultural crops. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter to grow in a dynamic, biotechnology-driven environment and have an impact on trait and product development programs in commercial crops.
