Job Description:
One of the most prestigious hospitals in the world in their particular discipline is looking to build out a new team of Analytic professionals focusing primarily in affecting the day to day operations in the way to hospital operates and approaches different scenarios and singular case by case basis’. Working heavily alongside an R&D and Bioinformatics group, this role will be the first hire for the new group and will provide a good amount of insight into a previously unexplored territory internally. If you’re a Data Scientist or aspiring that leverages a healthy amount of Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling with either Python or R, then this could be a strong role for you. As mentioned, this will be a team buildout so anywhere from 3 to an infinite amount of experience would be a strong fit. Not looking for any One Trick Ponies, you’d be expected to leverage more than just Random Forest or SVM but a bevy of strong Machine Learning Modeling experience across the board. - 7+ years leveraging Python and/or R (for analysis)
- 7+ years within a heavy SQL environment
- Experience within a Big Data environment (MapR, HDFS, Aster, OpenStack)
- Integration analysis experience
- Data Mining experience
- Polyglot programming skills are a strong plus (Java, Python, SQL)
- Experience leveraging SAS, a strong plus
- Experience within Computer Science and Software Development, strong plus
- Postgraduate degrees will be expected; Masters and/or PhD
