Responsibilities:
- Responsible for product development of multiple large scale data products using geospatial imagery.
- Develop, architect, and analyze software to support products as needed.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to plan and execute deliverables, define requirements and technical specifications to meet business goals.
- Lead product development team using agile development principles, including release planning, sprint planning, product and sprint backlog grooming, and stand-ups.
- Ensure products meet design specifications, and adhere to standard coding and development practices.
- 3+ years of experience as technical lead/product architect of commercial software products.
- 3+ years of experience managing teams of 10 or more.
- Ability to write code to analyze and process geo-referenced images using spatial databases.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and automated testing
- BS or MS degree, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (physics, mathematics, bioinformatics, computer science, operations research, etc.)
- Experience with mapping, real time GPS tracking and spatial databases is a big plus.
- Experience managing large and complex projects with critical urgent deliverables.
- Strong background in agile, and ability to mentor others in its us
