Job Description:
We are looking for a Front End Engineer who is excited by the challenge of conceiving, architecting, and most importantly, implementing the systems we’ll need to serve complex genomic data that clinicians will use to decide how to treat infected patients, and our researchers will use to analyze molecular and computational biology experiments. When was the last time the system you built saved a life? You Will: -Bring deep experience building easy-to-use, intuitive, and performant web apps -Have strong opinions, backed by proven experience, on how good systems should be built -Have the ability and desire to roll up your sleeves and build them yourself You bring experience with some of the following: -Front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript) -Writing large, maintainable front-end codebases -Javascript frameworks (React.js, Redux, webpack, etc) -CSS Preprocessors (SASS, LESS, CSS modules, etc) -Data visualization (D3.js, Plotly, etc) -Designing, implementing, and using REST API endpoints for server-side support -Some familiarity with backend web technologies such as Rails, ASP.net MVC
