The ideal candidate would be a self-driven and results-oriented CS/EE graduate with 2+ years of software development experience, looking for real-world engineering opportunities at an early stage Silicon Valley startup. You will be working closely with Hardware, Firmware, and Product Engineers to help define and build a scalable Backend and Frontend software platform based on zGlue's proprietary IoT technology. You will have the opportunity to innovate and build new applications, as well as the opportunity to learn about real system design and develop a solution from concept to product. Responsibilities:
- Develop the proprietary Front-end software and algorithms to build IoT systems using zGlue's hardware solution
- Create the moderns web app-Work with Backend, Designer, and Business Development and Marketing Teams to define zGlue's web User interface
- Help to define and maintain the Front-end related databases
- Help to define the API for Front-end web stack applications
- BS/MS Graduate in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
- 2+ years of software development experience-Experience with React or Angular
- Experience with Node.js-Experience in building advanced user interaction and animations features such as drag and drop, AR and VR
- Strong problem solving skills-Good knowledge in data structures
- Good understanding of both relational and non-relational databases with Postgres and MongoDB
- Experience with A/B testing
- Attention to pixel-level design details
- Work closely with UX/Visual Designer
