Inside this ever-evolving laboratory, recipes change; procedures optimize. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will guide this evolution by directly developing key features of LIMS. In collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers, you’ll directly engage the community that you serve: our chemistry, operations, and production teams. By understanding their problems and pinch points, you’ll design new automated tools and workflows that let them perform at their finest. Your software tools will extend from inventory management of supplies fresh from the loading dock, to the workflows that move customer orders across machines, to the apps that guide the production crew along their chain of QC. Your efforts will transform complicated factory workflows into clean and maintainable interfaces that help deliver Synthego's genome engineering solutions to the end user. What You'll Do:

Any given order moves through dozens of instruments, and our factory can manage throughput in the thousands. To orchestrate the chaos, our Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) sits as manager of all scientists and instruments. LIMS both juggles the task of coordinating all factory resources and analyzing the resulting instrument data generated. Company Perks & Benefits:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Contribute to frontend or backend code as need, go where the work takes you
- Write clean well architected code with 100% test coverage
- BS in CS/EE and 2+ years industry experience or equivalent
- Fluent in Python / Javascript
- Experience with backend technologies such Django / Flask
- Experience with one or more current JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Meteor)
- Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative start-up environment
- Expertise with ES6
- Fluent with Bash
- Fluency with Linux
- Familiarity with Nginx or Apache configuration
- Previous experience in the Biotech domain
