Job Description:

The Job:

  • You will work with highly-skilled multi-disciplinary team to shape, plan and deliver the latest in clinical trial management.
  • Work closely with customers to improve efficiencies in the clinical trial process.
  • Develop new services for end users using web tools for delivery on desktop and mobile environments.
  • Work in the latests web, mobile technologies.
  • Explore the most efficient ways to deploy across multiple platforms form a single codebase.
  • Develop in Java, PHP, HTML and JavaScript.
  • Work as an Agile team member.
  • Use your OOP, MVC, Design Patterns in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Develop in Version Control (e.g., Git).
  • Use data transmission formats (JSON, XML, SQL)
  • Understand the latests encryption, information sharing and security procedures including blockchain.
  • Work with cutting-edge developer frameworks (e.g., Apples HealthKit, CareKit, ResearchKit)
  • Collaborate with UX designers, QA and Product Owners to define, size and implement user stories
  • Prototyping new products and features, upgrading existing technologies
  • Design and build creative, usable and compelling user interfaces for web by using standard HTML/CSS practices and integrate data from back-end services.

  • Think creatively and contribute new ideas to the team in terms of best practices, patterns, and technologies that would lead to delivery efficiencies.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 2-4+ years experience programming web and mobile applications
  • Enthusiasm for learning new programming languages and solving interesting technical challenges
  • Advanced degrees in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
  • Mobile experience in Objective-C, Swift
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services s3, EC2, RDS
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice
  • Experience as a full stack Web Developer with a strong UI/UX sense and a natural flair for aesthetics
  • Demonstratable programming skills in Java, PHP, CSS, HTML5, Javascript, LAMP Stack and/or equivalents.
  • demonstration of the ability to learn quickly and maintain a strong work ethic

Knowlege of:
  • new technologies including Wearable Computing, Big Data, and Internet of Things
  • Responsive Design and UI design best practice with a passion for detail and a care for great usability and aesthetics
  • Ionic, React, and/or React-Native is a plus
  • Chatbots, AI and NLP
  • Wearables, bionics, and robotics.
  • current standards for encryption and information sharing in secure environments including AES and blockchain
  • Identity and Access Management technologies and design in complex environments (e.g. AD, LDAP, Kerberos) preferred.
  • Understanding of ISO 27001 Cybersecurity Framework and other frameworks.
  • HIPAA, HL7, OMOP, FHIR and other bioinformatics standards.
