We're looking for strong engineers who will help us create state-of-the-art applications for interpretation and integration of highly complex genetic data. Candidates should be well rounded in the full software development life cycle, as well as experienced with the analysis of genomic or other “omic” data. Skills and Requirements: -MS/PhD in Biology/Genetics/Bioinformatics or related field -5+ years experience writing production applications in Python, Java, Javascript -Experience developing full-stack web-applications -Experience building service oriented architectures using APIs -Experience with Agile software development, continuous deployment, and DevOps -Solid understanding of data modeling and query optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) -Must be self-motivated and work well in a cross-functional and interdisciplinary team environment -Must be able to easily communicate feature requirements and software requirements to diverse audiences including engineers, scientists, geneticists, and product managers -Keen attention to detail
