Job Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to help us develop bioinformatics tools for our diagnostics and genomics group. The successful intern candidate will use their biology background and bioinformatics knowledge to analyze and interpret genomic and next-generation sequencing data. You will work closely with internal collaborators to develop computational tools to drive our understanding of key factors that contribute to sequencing performance.

  • Demonstration of excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • understanding of basic molecular biology techniques
  • Strong quantitative data analysis skills
  • Experience with basic programming in python or similar scripting language
  • B.S./B.A. or Masters in biological science or equivalent
  • Must be a currently enrolled student
