Job Description:
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with partners in HWPA, Sales, Finance, and Supply Planning to directly support the growth of our client's Hardware by developing a Demand Plan and improved analytical inputs to the planning process across multiple products and geographies. As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with partners in HWPA, Sales, Finance, and Supply Planning to directly support the growth of our client's Hardware by developing a Demand Plan and improved analytical inputs to the planning process across multiple products and geographies. Overall Responsibilities:
- Drive improvement in data integrity as subject matter expert on quantitative inputs to planning process
- Take a "hands-on” approach in building and maintaining datasets with standard format to house multiple incoming sources including system, data warehouse, and qualitative data gathering methods
- Own the generation of the global demand plan by executing a Consensus Demand Planning process with inputs from multiple teams and resulting in a final forecast for supply chain execution
- Work with large, complex data sets. Solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying analytical methods as needed including research and development analysis, forecasting, and optimization methods to improve the quality of the Supply Chain planning process
- Define data structures and metrics, work with business to align definitions, advocating for changes where needed
- Interact cross-functionally with a wide set of stakeholders and teams at varied levels of the organization to enact data maintenance process
- Make recommendations and present findings through visual displays of quantitative information
- Investigate new data sources, monitor data quality issues and set policies for future data collection
- Global Demand Planning for our client Consumer Hardware products
- Set up process for data gathering plus building and maintaining complex datasets used by all planning partners
- Solve analytical problems on ad-hoc basis as needed to improve quality of Demand Plan, report findings to stakeholders
- BA/BS degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. statistics, bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, applied mathematics, or similar)
- 2-5 years of experience as an data analyst with the understanding of Supply Chain Planning functions
- Experience with statistical software (R, SAS, or similar)
- Experience with databases and scripting languages (SQL, or similar)
- Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to multi-task, set priorities and work efficiently in a high-paced environment
