GENEWIZ is seeking a Junior QA Tester to join our IT team. Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements and test case review sessions
- Create test requirements; design test cases and data
- Execute test cases and report execution results
- Log defects where actual results do not match expected results and retest defects after resolution, as necessary. Communicate any project issues/concerns.
- Study the automation and performance requirements and design test scripts, suites/scenarios, data and workload models
- Execute automation test scripts and report execution results
- Analyze regression feasibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required
- 1-2 years’ experience in QA process, planning and testing required
- Strong working knowledge of QA methodologies preferred
- Experience with test automation programs such as Selenium or similar applications preferred
- Experience testing internet applications and working with SQL queries preferred
- Understanding data structure and data analysis is preferred
- Experience writing BRD/FSD
