Job Description:
GENEWIZ is seeking a Junior QA Tester to join our IT team.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in requirements and test case review sessions
  • Create test requirements; design test cases and data
  • Execute test cases and report execution results
  • Log defects where actual results do not match expected results and retest defects after resolution, as necessary. Communicate any project issues/concerns.
  • Study the automation and performance requirements and design test scripts, suites/scenarios, data and workload models
  • Execute automation test scripts and report execution results
  • Analyze regression feasibility
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required
  • 1-2 years’ experience in QA process, planning and testing required
  • Strong working knowledge of QA methodologies preferred
  • Experience with test automation programs such as Selenium or similar applications preferred
  • Experience testing internet applications and working with SQL queries preferred
  • Understanding data structure and data analysis is preferred
  • Experience writing BRD/FSD
