TRON is expanding its multidisciplinary Computational Medicine Unit with exceptional experience in next generation sequencing data analysis and immuno-informatics. To enlarge our technological knowledge and expertise, we are searching for a PhD Student „immuno-biomarker“ (m/f)to become a member of our Computational Medicine development team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assess the tumor microenvironment using RNA-Seq bulk dataDiscover immuno-biomarkers relevant for the clinical course of cancer patientsWork with multiple state of the art data sources (RNA-Seq, exome seq, Mass Spectrometry, HT-qPCR, Single cell sequencing)Integrate data from multiple ‘omics sourcesTightly interact with genomics and molecular biology teams.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Master-level education with extensive experience in bioinformatics, computer science or related fieldDeep understanding of cancer biology and immunology is a plusSelf-starter who works effectively in an agile start-up environment Enthusiastic team playerWe are pleased to offer to you the opportunity to participate in our PhD program.
