Additional Info:
Our work in IPF is focused on understanding how dysregulated gene expression contributes to disease genesis and response. This work is facilitated by the use of novel single cell RNA-sequencing methods that allows us to identify gene expression signatures associated with the disease at a cell type resolution. Furthermore, we have established a collaboration that includes renowned clinician, researchers and transplant surgeons.

Detailed Description

Our cancer work largely focuses on multiple myeloma, given our strong institutional expertise (Dr. Jonathan Keats). We are exploring how germline genetic variation associated with changes in gene expression (eQTLs) affect treatment response and overall outcome of patients within the MMRF CoMMpass study. Additionally, we are using large-scale CRIPSR/Cas9 screens to identify genes essential for multiple myeloma survival.
