Post Doctoral Researcher (Job Opening 430045) - Post Doctoral Researcher to engage in mentored research and training activities related to both basic and applied Biomedical Informatics, including but not limited to: bioinformatics, translational bioinformatics, imaging informatics, clinical research informatics, clinical/medical informatics, and public health informatics; such activities will involve a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates an understanding and use of computer/information science, biomedical informatics, basic biological sciences, clinical science, and population science theories and methods; this position will operate under the direct supervision of a faculty mentor. Education and experience: Doctoral degree in Bioinformatics, Biophysics, or an appropriate field required; demonstrated ability to be a competent and productive researcher; requires successful completion of a background check; selected candidate may be required to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
