Job Description:
Faryabi Lab at the University of Pennsylvania utilizes a systems biology approach to study the role of Notch signaling in oncogenic transformation. Positions are available for computational biologists to join our enthusiastic interdisciplinary team that is dissecting Notch transcriptional regulation and elucidates how this pathway reorganizes the tumor epigenome. The lab provides a rich multi-disciplinary training environment in genomics, epigenetics, cancer biology, and bioinformatics, and deploy cutting edge high-throughput chromatin conformation and single-cell transcriptomic and epigenomic assays, and interact closely with Penn’s Institute for Epigenetics, Abramson Cancer Center and Center for Personalized Medicine (https://goo.gl/2KHtfQ ).

Further information about our lab could be found at https://faryabib.github.io

Qualifications:

Expertise in statistical inference and machine learning, programing in Python and R in a Unix environment is required. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in working with genome-wide chromatin conformation and ChIP-seq data sets.
