Postdoc Research AssociateUniversity of Texas Health Science Center at HoustonBiostatisticsUSA-Texas-Houston A post-doctoral research fellow position is available in the Department of Biostatistics, University of Texas School of Public Health at Houston. Candidates will be expected to work on federal and state funded projects to develop novel methods and software/database tools in text and data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, data management systems, Big Data analytics, and apply them to complex bioinformatics and biomedical data analysis, modeling and integration. Applicants must have: A Ph.D. in computer science, bioinformatics, biomedical informatics, information science, computational engineering, applied mathematics, (bio)statistics or a related field, with relevant research experience. Computational and programming skills are essential.
