Job Description:
Bioinformatics postdoc positions are available in the department of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC). We (www.korkutlab.org ) aim to discover combination therapies with small molecules and immunotherapy agents to overcome resistance to targeted therapy in cancer. Our laboratory combines bioinformatics, cancer genomics, network inference and machine learning algorithms with drug perturbation and profiling experiments. If you are interested in:

Requirements:

PhD in a relevant field (e.g., bioinformatics, biophysics, genomics). A good understanding of statistics and programming skills (e.g., R, Matlab, C++, Fortran) is a must. A good understanding of cancer biology, signaling pathways and drug response mechanisms is highly preferred.
