Job Description:
A postdoctoral research scientist position is available to join our efforts in developing biostatistical methods for the analysis of the 3D structure of the human genome. One of the goals is to identify differential 3D genomic regions associated with complex diseases and interpret them in the context of reference epigenomic data. The successful candidate will be collaborative, independent, and should have solid quantitative skills, proficiency in scripting and handling of big data. A track record of innovative research is essential. Required Qualifications: -Ph.D. in a Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or related disciplines. -Knowledge of biostatistics, genomics and sequencing data analysis. -Demonstrated programming proficiency in at least one of R, Python, C, Java programming languages. -Must demonstrate strong personal initiative and the ability to work effectively as a part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: -Knowledge of machine learning techniques. -Experience in multi-omics data analysis. -Experience with high performance computing. -Skills in web development.
