Job Description:
Computational postdoctoral positions are available immediately in Dr. Feng Yue`s laboratory at Penn State School of Medicine. The potential project includes investigating the mechanism and function of 3D genome organization. In particular, we are interested in the dis-regulation of 3D genome structure in cancer cells. The applicant is expected to have hands-on experience with processing Hi-C data, as well as RNA-Seq and ChIP-Seq data. Candidate is expected to have Ph.D. in Bioinformatics or Computer Science. He/she also needs to have first-author paper in reputable journals, such as Nucleic Acids Research or Genome Research. Minimum Job Qualifications:

PhD in computer science or bioinformatics.

Skills Required:

Expert level on at least one of the following programming languages Perl/Python/Java/C++/C. Extensive training in biostatistics, familiar with MATLAB and R. Strong training in machine learning and data mining. Experience with computer administration and familiar with software installation and configuration on Linux. Excellent communication skills. Strong publications in peer-reviewed journals.
