Position supports the maintenance and execution of data analysis pipelines for next-generation sequencing datasets and maintains the data storage on the servers.

Position supports the maintenance and execution of data analysis pipelines for next-generation sequencing datasets and maintains the data storage on the servers.
- Maintains adequate data storage levels on the servers.
- Supports automation of pipeline and laboratory software.
- Evaluates and supports, in consultation with UPHS Information Services, IT-related needs.
- Executes clinical data analysis pipelines of next-generation sequencing datasets and uploads information into database.
- Maintains uninterrupted power supplies for servers
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager.
- Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, polices, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization
- Bachelor's Degree Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biology or related field, required.
- Master's Degree Bioinformatics, Computer, Science, Biology or a related field, preferred.
