Job Description:
The Bioinformatics Consulting Center in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is seeking applicants for a junior Programmer position. Responsibilities include assisting researchers with programming tasks that include machine learning and bioinformatics oriented scientific programming. In addition duties include developing a Django based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for the analysis of meta-genomics barcode data.

Demonstrated experience delivering software written in the Python programming language is necessary. Applicants should submit a cover letter and a CV. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with good possibility of re-funding.
