Job Description:
The Knowledge Systems Group at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute seeks a Research Assistant to contribute to our applied precision cancer medicine platforms. Our platforms are focused on mining of cancer genomic data sets and enabling precision medicine initiatives at DFCI. Specifically, we are looking for a research assistant to help with our open source computational clinical trials matching platform, MatchMiner. The Research Assistant is an exceptional candidate with a background in biology and a strong interest in clinical genomics. This is a great opportunity to gain cutting-edge translational and data science experience, learn more about the exciting field of clinical genomics, and have direct impact patient care.

Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:- Curation of clinical trials, with particular focus on genomic and clinical eligibility criteria
- Harmonization of curated clinical trial documents from disparate sources
- Preparation for internal tumor review boards meetings
- Outcomes tracking
- Patient-specific clinical trial match identification and notification
- Potential opportunity to conduct independent data research (based on experience/desire).
Qualifications
Required skills:- Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Biology, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interest in contributing to biological research with clinical applications.
- Outstanding personal initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
