Division of Computational and Systems Medicine

Applications are invited for a Research Associate position in bioinformatics in the Division of Computational and Systems Medicine. This post involves the development of translational bioinformatic solutions for processing and streamlined analysis of molecular datasets generated by emerging mass spectrometry technologies and next generation sequencing with an ultimate aim to augment molecular profiling technologies into clinical research settings.

Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent in a relevant numerical discipline (e.g. computer science, statistics, theoretical physics, computational chemistry or bioinformatics) and have extensive experience with modern signal processing, machine learning and related pattern recognition algorithms for the analysis of large molecular datasets generated by post-genomic analytical technologies.

This full time position is offered for a fixed-term of 12 months in the first instance, and will be based at the South Kensington Campus.
