As a Senior Software Engineer / Bioinformatics, you will be part of a newly established team of 10 developers. The Software Applications team will create front-end and back-end software solutions for both our customers and our own organization. As a senior member of the team, you already have some more experience in software engineering and you are motivated by being able to help and advise others when needed. You like to work as one of the team and support others with technical questions. Job Description: In this role, your responsibility is to develop front-end and back-end software solutions through hands-on programming and producing technical documentation, such as specifications, manuals, procedures, and communication materials. You will also develop interfaces for internal software tools and create systems integration and automation solutions. In addition, you will act as a contact point for the team; communicating with different internal stake-holders such as geneticists, marketing, production, and data science. Qualifications: You should have an MSc in Computer Science or related field, and at least five years’ experience as a software developer or engineer. On top of this you have some experience in project management and advising colleagues. Experience with one or more of the following technologies is considered an asset:
