Job Description:
Axle Informatics is looking for a SharePoint Support Specialist willing to work in a high-performing, fast-paced company that offers innovative services to one of the top medical research centers in the world, the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

What you’ll be doing:

-Manage daily operations of customer service and technical support for all assigned product lines.

-Work with customers to identify requirements, train on usage and troubleshoot problems.

-Maintain, administer and provision SharePoint sites and applications.

-Resolve challenges of managing, securing and sharing large amounts of data being produced.

-Field client calls and inquiries, troubleshoot with clients to isolate problems and walk-through corrective measures.

-Assist in the creation of briefings, reports, SharePoint sites, and other materials.

-Provide SharePoint site and content administrative support by managing permissions, adhering to client requests and assisting in site maintenance.

-Analyze and isolate points of trouble while keeping clients informed of status.

-Manage SharePoint permission groups.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, business administration or any equivalent technical field.

-Experience with Microsoft Window SharePoint Services (MSS) and Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS).

-Experience working directly with clients and resolving customer service issues.

-Excellent interpersonal skills; Proven ability to work with teams.

-Strong customer service skills.

-CSS and HTML experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience working in a research oriented environment.

-3+ years working with SharePoint.

-Proven ability to communicate with members of technical team and clients of the company.

Technologies/Software:

-Microsoft office SharePoint services (MOSS); Windows SharePoint Services.

-Angular JS, node.js, JSON C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, .net, SQL Server 2008/2012, Windows Server 2012
