We are an R&D shop building technologies that power economic research, healthcare, and genomic sciences. We are looking for talented developers to help us forge our way into the field of bioinformatics. You will be developing quality software to support ongoing research in this exciting field. What you'll do: You will be responsible for the database architect and development of web applications that process genomic data. Challenges include 'real-time' interactive visualization for sequence analysis; data pipeline that transforms a variety of data sets for integration; and the development of an information network and semantic search to find relationships between literature and annotations from public and private sources. - 3+ years of production experience as a software engineer or developer.
- Advance knowledge of database architecture and design.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Background in the domain of bioinformatics, genomic sciences, or related discipline is a bonus.
